The ultimate guide and story about how you can help Pela keep 1 BILLION pounds of plastic from ever being made.
It all started with Jeremy Lang, the founder of Pela. He saw first hand the damage plastic waste did during a family trip on Hawaii.
His son dug up some plastic on the beach and it made him think about our impact and what we’re doing to our planet.
He decided to take action and founded Pela.
Pela is an Eco Friendly company that sells phone cases and sunglasses.
It’s a similar story as the 4ocean blog that we’ve recently wrote about. If you haven’t already click here to read it.
Their aim is to create a WASTE FREE future, which is something very admirable and it’s something which we all should strive for.
Without further ado here are the phone cases.
Eco Friendly Phone Cases
We all have a phone case, unless you want to defy fate, for which I applaud you! But for me no, I can be a little bit clumsy when it comes to phones. As you all know we at Life’s the Beach support Eco Friendly products and try to put an Eco Friendly product in the spotlight every week.
When I saw the Pela phone cases, I was immediately sold. The design looks really nice, they’ve got all sorts of design, it protects your phone (as it should), 100% satisfaction guarantee + 100% Eco Friendly!
The astonishing thing about these phone cases is that they are 100% compassable, it’s made with flax shive and a plant-based biopolymer material verified to meet ASTM D6400 standard for biodegradable products.
Pela has done a beautiful thing, they’ve managed to make a slick phone case that is 100% Eco Friendly. Although the price can be debatable I think in order to make our planet safe, to help make it waste free for future generations to come $40,- sounds like a really fair price don’t you think?
